Erykah Badu made a joke about her at the BET Soul Train Awards just days ago. And it looks like Iggy Azalea is not going to back down. she took to Twitter on Tuesday, to
address a few things including what seemed to be the diss from the
44-year-old singer. She wrote to her
5.98million followers:
'We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, f***king hell.'
This all began as Erykah took took aim at Iggy Azlea when she hosted the BET Soul Train Awards on Sunday evening.
The
Tyrone singer blasted the artist during her opening monologue, as she
said she would not let any rap artists get involved on the night.
Pretending
to take a phone call from the Fancy hitmaker, she said she was welcome
because, 'What you're doing is definitely not rap.'
Later
on, Erykah retweeted a post which read: 'Life would be wonderful if
women celebrated each other instead of emulating garbage like
@fatbellybella You have my support @IGGYAZALEA.'
