A report from The Sun
claims Kanye deliberately snubbed the glitzy event, as he's angry over
un-airbrushed photos of his wife partying in Mexico, which emerged last
week.
A
friend reportedly told The Sun that the rapper is still fuming over his
wife's recent trip to Mexico to celebrate her sister Kourtney's
birthday, during which un-airbrushed photos of Kim in a bikini emerged:
'Kanye
has helped turned Kim into a fashion icon and he feels those pictures
with Kourtney have made her look cheap, damaging her brand,' the insider
claims.
'He's angry with Kourtney for
seemingly leading her on, as she clearly revelled in turning their
session into a photoshoot. Their behaviour completely detracted from
Kim's current standing in the industry.'
Meanwhile another source has told People Magazine
that Kanye's absence was simply due to his desire to take time out of
the spotlight following his hospitalisation for exhaustion late last
year.
