18-year-old Aleexandra
Kefren from eastern Europe, has controversially decided to sell her virginity for £850,000, in
the hope of raising enough money to buy a home for her parents who are
set to be evicted in February.
The
teenager was inspired to place the advert on an online escort agency,
after seeing the film Indecent Proposal - where Robert Redford's
character offers Demi Moore £1billion to spend the night with her.
She said 'I
was 15, I saw a movie on TV it was about a girl who sold herself for
one night. Maybe I could do this with my virginity I saw many girls who
sold themselves for £3.5million or more,'
Asked
about the suitor who might make the winning bid, Aleexandra had no
worries about completing the transaction no matter what he looked like.
'I am
thinking it is strictly business not emotional. I think it will be
alright, I think a glass of wine will be enough to get through,' she
added.
'My father is a very strict man. He wouldn’t agree with it. If they don’t find out I will never tell them,' she added.
They were
stunned when she said that although she had been tested for the purposes
of the advert on the online escort agency, to prove she was a virgin,
she hadn't enquired about the winning bidder's health.
'I haven’t thought about that…' she hesitated before adding, 'Probably I will test him too. I didn’t think about it.'
An
alarmed Phillip told Aleexandra: 'I've got to say I am a father I have
to say to you now, are you out of your mind? You haven't thought about
the health aspects the safety aspects. What are you thinking?'
But Aleexandra was more concerned about finding the money to save her parents, even though they didn't know what she was doing.
She was convinced that they would never find out and she was not going to tell them either: 'I told them that I am going for a modelling catwalk, I am doing this for them but they don’t know.
Aleexandra
explained how the online escort agency were originally taking 50 per
cent of her total bid but have now reduced it to 20 per cent but she
seemed ill-advised about planning to travel by herself in Europe to
wherever the winning bid was located.
When
Phillip pointed out there are 'very bad people out there', Aleexandra
replied: 'Someone with that kind of money will be a good man and won't
have problems.'
The
presenter added of the online auction site: 'You have to look at this
website you're doing it through. If they are taking 20 per cent and
sending you out there, you have to look at the relationship you have
with them.'
She was asked by
Holly what advice she would give to others if they ever found themselves
in the same desperate situation, and Aleexandra said if it was a
necessity to go ahead.
'If
it is an emergency like in my case… You need the money quickly, there
is no other way that you can do it, I would say yes do it, but if it’s
not then no.'
The
clearly worried presenters encouraged the teenager to speak with the
show's counsellor after the interview to make sure that she truly
understood the situation she had placed herself in.
'It’s
a tragedy that it’s come to this. I hope personally that there is some
miracle that your parents don’t have to get evicted,' Phillip said.
