A man has been jailed for 17 years after photographs of him raping a toddler were discovered in a bag he donated to charity.
Gary Sovie, 49, had handed the tote bag of belongings into a second-hand shop in Columbus, Ohio.
However, upon inspection of the goods inside, a Salvation Army worker found 32 photographs of a naked child and the man sexually assaulting her.
She is believed to have been between 16 and 18-months-old.
The Polaroids, which were discovered alongside old receipts and post, are believed to date back to 1999.
Police tracked down Sovie using the address on documents left inside the bag.
According to the Columbus Dispatch , upon arrested he told officers: "I am a very sick person."
Appearing in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, Sovie pleaded guilty to one count each of rape and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Sentencing him to 17 years, Judge Julie Lynch said that Sovie's crime was "the bottom of the barrel for a human being."
She said: "Right now, you live in the bottom of the barrel, but I bet that bottom is going to fall out for you shortly."
He was fined $35,000 (£28,600) and told that he would be required to register as a sex offender every 90 days for the rest of his life when he is released.
