A truck carrying timber collapsed outside a market in Nnewi, Anambra
State today instantly killing a woman. The woman, whose identity is not
known at the time of publication, was reportedly waiting in the early
morning hours for the market to open.
The truck collapsed on the woman
waiting patiently for security men to open the market, according to
reports.
Locals have blamed the abysmal condition of roadways in Anambra
State, and in particular around the Nnewi market, for the accident.
