Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett celebrates their seven year anniversary

The couple have gone through tough times. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett marked their seven year anniversary on Monday by posting lovey-dovey messages to each other on Instagram. Read more after the cut.

Kendra shared a perhaps fitting photo of the couple standing on the deck of a ship, the sky brooding with dark clouds all around, but with a ray of sunshine still fighting to get through.

'On our anniversary today I'm just thinking how far we've come,' she wrote.

She recalled playing a love trivia game at a resort among couples who had been married for three decades and finding it hilarious they had only been dating for seven months.

'Now it's 7 years, just like that. We've been through ups n downs but getting through those down and surviving them the way we did is rare these days,' she continued.

'Our ups I can say is our strength. We are always up. LOL. I'm so proud of us and what we stand for. 

The former footballer posted his own tribute to his wife, along with a photo montage of the pair together

'Our kids will believe in love and forgiveness because of us showing them it's possible. I love you @hank_baskett forever n ever...amen!! Happy 7 year anniversary.'

Although she didn't mention any of those downs specifically, the biggest test to face the reality star was undoubtedly the reports Hank had been unfaithful with transgender model Ava London in 2014.
