She
caused an uproar when she said Ciara 'should be having sex' with her
NFL star beau Russell Wilson despite their celibacy pledge. And
canny Khloe Kardashian decided to limit the damage by taking to Twitter
on Thursday to walk back slightly on her Kocktails With Khloe comments.
The
31-year-old insisted she has great respect for the Dance Like We're
Making Love star, and said she had been merely commenting on celibacy in
general, despite inferring the pair may be limiting their love lives to
boost their image.
Khloe said:
'It’s so frustrating how people misconstrue my words! I love & adore Ciara! I respect her on many levels.'Was freely discussing my views on celibacy & people twist & turn everything [to] create a feud.'People are watching an edited version and not from the show. That’s the issue.'
Ignoring
the fact former Super Bowl champion Russell is a devout Christian, she
said:
‘They should be having sex. With all due respect to Ciara she has a baby, its not like we don’t know if she is a virgin or not, we know.
‘None
of us would know about it unless they were publicly telling us they are
practicing celibacy, so who are you trying to prove this to? Is it a
look?’
Her
special guest star Cassie, the longtime girlfriend of Sean ‘Diddy’
Combs, chimed in to say group she could not do it as she ‘is a very
sexual person.’
Russell, 27, had previously revealed he and the singer had agreed to do things 'the Jesus' way' in their relationship.
The
sexpot singer, who posed topless for the cover of her latest album
Jackie, did not sound quite so enthusiastic when she later she said:
'You go one day at a time and keep [the romance] going with each other.
It's alright.'
Mind
you the challenge probably became slightly easier back in July, as the
beefcake quarterback signed a mammoth $87 million contract extension
with the Seattle Seahawks.
