A Psychology graduate breaks UNILAG, scores 5.00 CGPA record

University of Lagos on Wednesday declared a Psychology graduand, Ayodele Dada, as the best in the institution’s history. Dada reportedly scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 5.00. No candidate has ever obtained the grade in the annals of the 54-year-old university.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Rahamon Bello, made this known on Wednesday while announcing programmes for the institution’s 48th convocation ceremonies.

Bello said,

 “This year, a record has been set. A graduating student in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Sciences, Mr. Ayodele Dada, is graduating with a CGPA of 5.00. This is a perfect score. This means he scored As in all courses he took in the programme. I congratulate Mr. Dada and the members of staff of the Department of Psychology for this feat.”
