Plane skids off runway at Nashville airport leaving three injured

Plane lands off runway at Nashville International Airport
A plane skidded off a runway at Nashville International Airport with 138 on board on Tuesday evening. The Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 was approaching the arrival gate when it rolled off the runway and into a ditch at around 5:30pm. The Nashville Fire Department said three people were transported to the nearby Summit Hospital, but all injuries were thought to be minor, reports WSMV.

"We landed, we were coasting and then we were bouncing up and down and the next thing you know... it felt as if we were about to topple over as we were going into the ditch," he told the Tennessean.
