The horrific moment shows a dog being dragged behind a pickup truck by its neck until it died of its injuries in China. The
unidentified driver tied the hound to the vehicle with a metal chain
before getting behind the steering wheel and pulling away.
Witnesses
say that at first the pooch was able to follow behind, but as the truck
sped up the exhausted animal was dragged behind.
The upsetting images were taken in Tangxia County in Dongguang, a city in China’s southern Guangdong Province.
According to reports, the dog died of its injuries and was lifeless when onlookers spotted the cruelty and intervened.
