After a long wait and multiple name changes, Kanye West finally released his latest album, "The Life Of Pablo" with a lot of controversial statement following it. The
rapper initially told fans that his eight studio album would ONLY be
available to listen to on Jay Z's Tidal - forcing fans to subscribe to the music service site. However, a month later the album was released on rival streaming
website, Spotify, as well as iTunes, Pandora, Google Play, and Kanye's
own website.

Jay Z & TIDAL in $5 Million Lawsuit for not paying artist; TIDAL Releases Statement

TIDAL has released a statement today (February 29) after reports
surfaced that the streaming company was being sued for $5 million. John
Emanuele filed the case with his company, Yesh Music LLC, stating that TIDAL did not pay independent artists proper royalties and violated copyright. The suit names Jay Z's company, S. Carter Enterprises, as a defendant.
