'Why IBB kicked me out of the Office on August 27, 1985' – Muhammadu Buhari

President Buhari  revels that  he was kicked out of office on August 27, 1985 by the then Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, because he was fighting corruption, same thing he's doing now. Buhari, who was the military head of state for 18 months, said this during an exclusive with The Interview Magazine.

Buhari to leave for France and see a doctor in London tomorrow

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to depart for France on Wednesday to address a special session of the European Union Parliament in Strasbourg.And on medical check-up in London. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly apologised to President Muhammadu Buhari for referring to him (Buhari) as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile in his radio broadcasts. Kanu, who has been in DSS custody over charges of treason and other ancillary offences, it was gathered, will also write a private letter of apology to the president.

President Muhammadu Buhari to decide MTN’s fate over N1.04tn fine- says minister

The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, said on Tuesday that President Muhammadu Buhari would have to decide MTN Nigeria’s fate regarding the N1.04tn fine imposed on it by the Nigerian Communications Commission. He stated this on the sidelines of the Alliance 4 Affordable Internet Nigeria Coalition Conference in Lagos, according to an online publication, Technology Times.

President Muhammadu Buhari, had reduced the number of federal ministries to 25 from about 29. Under the new dispensation, the ministries of police affairs, aviation and special duties appear to have been scrapped while ministries of Lands, Housing, Urban Development and Works have been merged to become Ministry of Works and Housing. Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo visited President Muhammadu  Buhari in Aso Rock yesterday, November 10th. Obasanjo arrived the presidential villa at about 12 noon and went straight to the banquet hall where he had a closed door meeting with Buhari. He refused to speak with state house correspondents after their meeting.
