Hollywood Actress and singer Mel B accuses husband Stephen Belafonte of physically abusing her, forcing her into threesomes and getting their nanny pregnant

America singer, Mel B, in a bitter divorce battle has taken out a restraining order against her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte after accusing him of physically abusing her, forcing her to have threesomes, and getting their nanny pregnant.

 

The 41-year-old claims came in a document filed at the Superior Court Of Los Angeles, in a hearing on Monday at 8:30am local time.

Today Belafonte said he had been set up and was being made to look like "the bad guy" in a increasingly bitter split when he spoke to a reporter for TMZ, who asked him to respond to the document filed by Mel.

Among the claims made by Mel's legal team are that he pushed her to the floor and choked her on the night of her Dancing With The Stars finale in November 2007, and that he split her lip by punching her while she was filming a segment with Usher for The X Factor in 2012.

Filing for a temporary restraining order against her estranged-husband, Mel alleges that she suffered a catalogue of abuse at the hands of the film producer.

In court documents obtained by Mirror Online, the America's Got Talent judge claims amongst other things that Stephen "flew into a rage" and punched her in the face on July 22 2012 , while she was filming for X Factor Australia.

The incident came as the Leeds-born star jetted to New York to film a "Home" segment with Usher, however, on the night that she filmed the segment she claims her husband hit her so hard that he split her lip.

"On the evening of the taping, Respondent [Stephen] flew into a rage claiming that I had been flirting with Usher all day." Mel states in the documents, adding: "Respondent was clearly jealous without reason."

She then alleges that her husband attacked her, saying: "Respondent punched me with a closed fist in the face causing my lip to split and then swell.

"I asked Respondent how I was supposed to work with a swollen lip, and he told that I should have thought of that before I decided I wanted to 'flirt with and f***' Usher."

But when TMZ confronted Stephen to ask him about some of the allegations made in the document, including the one regarding Usher, he replied: "Usher's not on X Factor , so how's that possible?"

Mel also references her husband's alleged abuse continued in the bedroom, with the 2 Become 1 singer claiming he "demanded" that she participate in threesomes with "random women".

She states that she was pressured into these encounters after Stephen revealed he'd made recordings of their "sex life" and other "private moments", which he used as leverage to gain her consen. 

Addressing her husband's alleged demands for multiple group sex sessions, she claims: "Respondent often times demanded that I participate in sexual intercourse with him and random women that he brought back to our hotel rooms."

Adding another shocking layer to the allegations Mel said that he would "threaten" her with the release of their sex tapes to secure her participation in the threesomes - some of which she asserts he filmed "surreptitiously".

The court document also references an incident in 2014, which saw Mel overcome with "emotional and physical exhaustion" that allegedly led to her taking an "entire bottle of Aspirin".

"In a moment of emotional and physical exhaustion, I took an entire bottle of Aspirin," she states. "I immediately regretted the action, and tried to call 999, and the Respondent [Stephen] blocked me from calling help."

"He threw me in the bedroom (without a phone) and locked the door, telling me to 'die, b*tch!' I tried to break the door, and eventually I was able to break the lock as it was very old."

She goes on to claim that it was only the following morning that she could seek medical help, with the star alleging she was "badly hurt" and in hospital for two days; where a security team was tasked with keeping her husband out of the star's vaccinity.

Mel claims: "I was in the hospital for two days. I was was badly hurt. During that time, Respondent was not allowed near me. I had security standing outside my hospital door with a picture of him so they knew to keep him out."
