US TV host Wendy Williams has slammed Kris Jenner for not flying back to Los Angeles to be with son-in-law Kanye West following his breakdown.
On Monday, at the time when Kanye, father-of-two was hospitalized Kris, Khloe and Kourtney were all at the Angel Ball in New York
which was put on to honour the late Robert Kardashian.
Kim was also due to attend but flew straight back to LA after learning of her husband's hospitalization.
Weighing in on her show on Tuesday, the TV host branded the
Kardashians "opportunistic" and said Kris should have flown back to be
with the rapper.
First, Wendy praised Kim for heading straight back to LA, and also said Khloe and Kourtney were right not to return.
"So by the time she [Kim] lands in New York and then has to turn around - that’s what a good wife does.
"However, I don’t think that the sisters should have moved
because this is not their situation. If you want to be a wife, be a
wife. We didn’t all marry your husband.
She then went on to
claim: "Second of all, this family has proven to be a bit more
opportunistic on people’s spiralisations - can we say Lamar Odom (sic)?
"At least I feel like Kris should have been there - she could have jumped on the next plane."
She continued: "You catch the next plane, mum. Hire your own
plane and you come to LA. After all, mum, it’s not like you need to be
there to honour dad.
"You didn’t exactly turn out to be the most
honourable wife when dad was here mum. Word on the street about alleged
infidelity. They got divorced, she had her ways about her. You remember
she was coffee, tea or me.
"No disrespect, but I’m just showing
you that Robert Kardashian gave this girl right here her come up and she
took it and she’s smart and she took the ball.
"We don’t all necessarily agree with how they make their money
which is why I’m saying… Kanye should have taken time off, some people
were saying, after Kim’s robbery.
"When you have a 21-city tour
and you’ve already signed papers and you need money, because, depending
on the stories you read, everything that is glittering is not
necessarily golden. You know, it costs a lot.
"I do not feel bad
for Kanye and Kim only because they have built this life, but I feel bad
for the innocence of Saint and North.
However, Wendy did go on to say she's concerned for both Kanye and Kim and wishes them both well.
"I
am concerned for them though. Don’t get used to hearing this out of my
mouth. No, but I am concerned for them. I do feel Kanye… lost his mum.
"The
anniversary [of her death] was November 20 so you can imagine - or
maybe you can’t - what this man is going through. If he is looking at
the Kardashians as being his only family, well, good luck with that.
"We wish you well Kanye. And Kim, we wish you well too."
