These
are Chapecoense's tragic Copa Sudamericana heroes pictured six days
before a plane crash claimed the lives of all but one of their
semi-final team.
Less than a week ago the tiny Brazilian side
booked their place in the club's first ever Copa Sudamericana final
after slaying Argentinian giants San Lorenzo.
They were
travelling to play Colombian side Atletico Nacional in the final when
their plane fell from the sky due to electrical problems just five
minutes before it was due to land this morning.
Just three of the club's 22-man squad survived. A total of 76 of the 81 passengers on board were killed.
