Australian billionaire James Packer, has reportedly splashed out a whopping $44 million
on luxury real estate for his Mariah Carey, as she reportedly 'demands' a Los Angeles pad as part of her (US)
$50 million settlement for dating him.
According to TMZ Mariah Carey and James Packer had a none signed agreement, to pay $50 million for dating him, as part of the sum, Mariah - wants him to buy
her an LA nest as part of the pricey settlement, after she relocated her
family there from New York so as he could be closer to his children.
James also reportedly made financial promises to Mariah which she wants him to honour.
She
was allegedly ordered out of the Calabasas estate they shared after
they split in Greece last month, but the crooner refused to leave.
The website
adds that tension began to stir between the pair when Tommy Davis - the
former chief spokesperson for the Church of Scientology - was brought
in to cut down on excessive spending in James' businesses.
He allegedly pointed out Mariah's excessive purchases, causing arguments between Tommy and Mariah's manager Stella Bulochnikov.
It was a whirlwind romance for the couple, who became engaged in January after less than a year together.
At the time, he presented her with a stunning 35-carat diamond ring estimated to cost $10 million.
The
gossip site claims that the prenup included a clause which would
require Mariah to return any gift bought by James should they split,
unless he provided the singer with a signed note to the contrary
