Premier League star Pape Souare has been airlifted to hospital following a horror crash on the M4 motorway. The
26-year-old was involved in a two-car crash near Heathrow Airport at
around 12.10pm yesterday and smashed into the central reservation.
Pictures of the Crystal Palace defender's destroyed Mercedes G63 were captured at the scene.
Crystal Palace confirmed Souare suffered injuries to his thigh and jaw bone and remains in hospital.
The defender is understood to have been cut out of the vehicle before being taken to an east London hospital for treatment.
Eye-witnesses at the scene said the Mercedes appeared to have crashed into the central reservation.
Soaure
has played three times in the Premier League this season and 56 times
for the club since signing from French side Lille in 2015.
