Following last Sunday brutal murder of 50 gays in a night club in Orlando Florida my one Omar Mir a US born citizen and as
part of the outpouring of rage for the tragic event and in solidarity
with the families and friends of the victims a vigil was held in Los
Angeles outside of City hall with Lady Gaga in attendance.
The 30-year-old singer broke down as she spoke at the gathering held on Monday, just one day after the horrific event.
She tweeted to her 60.2 million followers:
'Ignore
voices that aim to divide us, this only leads to more violence between
people. We must unite as humans, where we are all the same.'
Lady Gaga looked solemn and emotional as she spoke at the vigil.
she read some of the names of the victims during the Los Angeles Rally and Vigil on Monday.
Ever since the news broke the famous singer has been doing everything she can to help.
The gunman has been identified as Omar Mateen who killed as many as 30 people inside the bathroom.
Meanwhile,
thousands gathered in Orlando Monday night to mourn, remember and pay
respect to the 49 people killed in the brutal attack on the gay
nightclub in the city on Sunday morning, each one symbolized by a bell
toll at the end of the event.
Coming
together on the lawn outside the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing
Arts, the crowds heard from Muslim, LGBT and Latino community leaders,
and those affected by Sunday morning's attack.
