A woman claiming to be Prince ’s half-sister has come forward saying she is entitled to part of the late music Icon's dollar estate. Darcell
Gresham Johnston, believed to have the same mother as Prince,
came to the family’s attention only in the last few years. It could mean his fortune is split seven ways, not six.
There is already tension among relatives after Prince’s sister Tyka
Nelson reportedly said she should receive more than half-siblings John,
Norrine, Sharon, Alfred and Omarr because she shared the same mum and
dad as the late star .
Under Minnesota law, however, all siblings should receive an equal share.
Prince's
siblings agreed to "openly communicate" with each other as they
attended the first hearing to divide up the late singer's estate.
The Purple Rain star's sister Tyka and five of his half siblings met in court in Minnesota on Monday to begin the task of going through his assets.
