The Hollywood actress, Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted she's better off being friends with her ex husband Chris Martin. she split from Coldplay frontman Chris two
years ago, opened up about their split and how they remain the most
amicable exes in Tinseltown.
Speaking to Marie Claire Australia,
Gwyneth, 43, said: "I think we are better as friends than we were
[married]. We are very close and supportive of one another."
The pair share children Apple, 11, and Moses, nine and still enjoy family dinners and holidays together.
"It hasn't always been easy for us because you have
good days and bad days as you do in life with anything, but I feel lucky
because Chris has been willing to push himself for the sake of the kids
and help me co-create this new family," she said.
"It's like we are still a family, but not a couple."
Gwyneth
is now dating TV producer Brad Falchuk and Chris has been linked to
Jennifer Lawrence and Peaky Blinders actress Annabelle Wallis.
Speaking
about her new relationship the Goop founder said: "I don't want to say
too much, but I will say you just never know what is going to happen,
what people you are going to meet, what amazing lessons you are going to
learn."
And she didn't rule out getting married again,
saying: "I think marriage is a really beautiful and noble institution,
but it is not like I am holding a goal of getting remarried."
The
pair split in 2014 after almost 10 years of marriage, with the breakup
dubbed 'conscious uncoupling' at the time by Gwyneth's lifestyle website
Goop.
Chris recently said: "It's always out there in the media,
but I have a very wonderful separation-divorce. I've lived a lot since
then. It's a divorce, but it's a weird one."
