She just made her Broadway debut in Danai Gurira's drama Eclipsed. So of course Lupita Nyong'o's
parents were there to support her, with the star later seen enjoying a
stroll with them during some downtime the following day.
The
33-year-old looked animated as she chatted with Dorothy and Peter
Anyang' Nyong'o while walking through New York City on Monday.
The
Academy Award winner accessorized the stylish look with a wide-brimmed
navy blue suede hat, and hid her eyes behind a pair of over-sized
sunglasses.
She could be seen gesturing as she happily chatted with her parents, and carried a mini water bottle in one hand.
Her mother Dorothy bundled up as well, sporting a collared, black jacket with a pair of fitted, black trousers.
