3 Night Guards kidnapped and Gang-rape a Teenage virgin for 12 hours

A 16-year-old girl is under serious hospital care after three night guards abducted and gang-raped her for more than 12 hours. The victim lost her virginity in the process and was taken to a General Hospital where she is receiving treatment for the injuries she sustained in her private part.

The incident happened on 20 February, 2016 at Tedi town in Ojo on the outskirts of Lagos State, western Nigeria, where the victim lives with her parents and where the suspects were employed as night guards.

Following the dastardly act, the police in Ojo division arrested two out of the three suspects and charged them before Ojo Magistrates’ Court with conspiracy and unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim.
The two arrested suspects are Ugo Onuora and Bright Anaenyewu, while the third suspect is now on the run.

The victim’s ordeal started when she took a ride on a commercial motorcycle popularly known as Okada while returning to her parents’ home at about 9 p.m.

The suspects who had resumed work on that day flagged down the motorcycle rider, discharged the rider and ordered the victim to follow them to where they used as their office.

They forced her to pull off her clothes and warned her not to scream otherwise they would kill her.
The victim obeyed out of fear and they raped her in turns till early morning when they allowed her to go.

When the victim returned to her house, her parents and their neighbours who were already searching for her asked her what happened and she narrated her odeal with blood still streaming from her private part.
The matter was reported to the police who took her to a hospital and went after the suspects.

Onuora and Anaenyewu were eventually arrested and taken to court on Monday.
When they were arraigned, they pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr A. A. Paul granted the suspects bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.


The court also ordered that the sureties must pay N100,000 into Chief Registrar’s account pending the determination of the case and evidence of tax payment.

The suspects were remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when they will perfect their bail.
