Rihanna has left her BRIT Awards 2016 appearance uncertain after pulling out of two UK stadium dates. The
ANTI singer, who was forced to delay her 68-date Anti World Tour by two
weeks 'due to production problems,' has now cancelled Sunderland
and Cardiff performances that were due to take place in June, blaming
'logistical reasons'.
Rihanna
disappointed concert goers once again on Friday when an official
announcement by Sunderland's Stadium of Lights confirmed further
disruption to the schedule.
The
announcement read: 'Due to logistical reasons beyond the tours control a
number of shows on Rihanna’s forthcoming Anti World Tour have been
cancelled.
'The concert scheduled for Sunderland’s Stadium of Light is one of those affected and the show will no longer go ahead.'
There is an offer of refunds for rickets purchased, those there is no information about dates that have been rescheduled.
Rihanna
is due to join stars including Justin Bieber, Adele and Little Mix as
performers at this year's London ceremony for the BRITs on February 24,
2016.
