Kesha
was in tears on Friday morning when she sat in State Supreme Court in
New York City to battle producer Dr Luke on rape charges. According to TMZ,
the singer was upset after a judge refused to let her out of her
contract with Sony Music, telling her she could always work with another
producer besides Dr Luke at the label.
The
28-year-old performer was seen heading into the court house earlier in
the morning wearing a white suit as fans gathered to protest Sony.
The site added that Kesha had 'sought an injunction allowing her to make an album outside of Sony.'
Her
attorneys stated that they are now concerned Sony will 'blackball' her
if she refuses to work with Luke. Dr Luke was not in the courtroom and
no decision on the abuse claims in her lawsuit has been made, TMZ also
reported.
The Tik Tok star has accused the music mogul of drugging her and raping her in civil suit.
On Thursday the star was seen at LAX airport on her way to New York. By her side was beau Brad Ashenfelter.
She told TMZ, 'I'm praying. I'm hoping,' that her case will go her way.

Speaking about her fans, she added:
'They're my everything and I couldn't have gotten through this without them, honestly.'They've been my rock through the last two years of my life and I'm, like, so grateful. It's insane, more than anything else in my life they've been, like, the most amazing.'
The
hitmaker is seeking to void her Sony contract, and alleged sexual
assault, sexual harassment and emotional abuse by Dr. Luke, real name
Lukasz Gottwald, over the course of their professional relationship.
The producer, who has also worked with the likes of Shakira, Pink, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, denies all her allegations.
The
Nashville native, whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert, also spoke out
about her case in a post she made on Instagram on Thursday, saying: 'I
have nothing left to hide. I did this because the truth was eating away
my soul and killing me from the inside.
'This is not just for me. this is for every woman, every human who has ever been abused. sexually. emotionally. mentally.
'I
had to tell the truth. so the outcome will be what it will be. there's
nothing left I can do. it's just so scary to have zero control in your
fate. but this is my path this life for whatever reason.'
