A lagos State based school (The Lagos Preparatory School, Ikoyi, ) has been busted for collecting dollar denominations from pupil's parents as school fees after the CBN as warn not to use any currency outside the Federal Republic of Nigeria to pay for any related transactions especially as 90% of their operating cost are in local currency. Few parent spoke of the school outrageous demands and law-breaking, as ridiculous considering the hardship the citizen are going through on the recent economic state of the country.
Futher investigations shows majority of the workforce of the school were paid in Niara and as such there could be no reason for this high demands from the poor parents,
