The Afro beat musician was in the presidential Villa yesterday to meet with the Senate President and other members of his cabinet... after he was well received and entertained, the senate president Saraki commend him and other entertainers for contributing massively to the development of the country. see what he said after the cut.
Saraki said;
'Today, i had the pleasure of interacting with Patrick Okorie AKA Patoranking.
I must say, we are proud of what Nigerians are doing in the entertainment, music and film industry. Over the last few years, our performers have worked hard to put Nigeria out there asa force to be reckoned with in entertainment.
Just the other day, i was saying to my own kids that in our time, all we listened to was foreign music, Now, thay dont even listen to foreign music anymore, they listen to more to local music.
The development might seem small to some, but it is a great transformation and we must commend the new generation of Nigerians in the entertainment industry for fantastic work that they are doing to change the perception of our country
