Can you spot the difference??
A Mariah Carey lookalike, Laura Pasqualoni is always in demand at this time of year. The
singer, from Connecticut, has revealed she can charge anything up to
$70,000 (£47,000) for a single appearance, impersonating the 45-year-old
Grammy winner. And
during the holiday season, it's All I Want For Christmas that audiences
want to hear, says the 41-year-old, who's been doing it for 20 years. See photos after the cut.
Laura, who
is a Mariah Carey (pictured left) lookalike, says: 'I am very lucky that
my career as a lookalike has been so successful and profitable. I get
to travel all over the world and I have been known to make quite large
sums when I've been hired for certain jobs'
Laura's
uncanny resemblance to the pop sensation means she is fully-booked up
every Christmas with customers eager for her to belt out Mariah's
festive tune at their event.
It
also means she is often mistaken for the star herself - and revealed
how the producers for a then unknown Drake once 'begged' her to listen
to his new CD.
She
explains: 'I am always busy but over the holidays, I am extra busy!
People always want to see me perform Mariah's number one song All I want
For Christmas.
