Tom Ford debuted his Lips
& Boys line of mini lipsticks today, and a shimmery plum shade named
after Drake sold out within minutes of its release on Net-a-Porter. The 29-year-old rapper took to Instagram to joke about the popularity of his namesake shade, which retails for $35, writing: 'My mom bought all of them. Hey Ma.' Last year, Tom, 54, announced his Lips & Boys collection, which features 50 colors named after men, past and present, who have touched his life in some way.
Drake's hue is also sold out at Tom's New York and Chicago stores, and is not even listed on Nordstrom's website along with the other colors in the collection, which includes a soft pink named after Jake Gyllenhaal.
While
Net-a-Porter promises that more stock of Drake's shade is coming soon,
the lipstick has found its way to eBay, where it is being sold
for between $80 and $200.
