'I wake up with a big, fat smile': Zoe Saldana talks happy marriage life with twin

 

Zoe Saldana has gone from single to married with twins. She married Marco Perego in 2013 and together they had twins Bowie and Cy. So it's no wonder the 37-year-old actress told the December 2015/January 2016 issue of Latina magazine that she is one of the happiest women around. More after the cut...

She said:

'I wake up with a big, fat smile on my face,' said the Star Trek and Avatar vet.

'You come home, you spend time with your family, you stay a little extra after the dinner has been eaten,' she said.

'It’s very important, because by the time you go back to work, it doesn’t feel like work. There’s a separation between being physically tired and being fatigued overall. I don’t like being fatigued.'

The star also explained her Latin background.

'My mom always made us read out loud in Spanish. She taught us how to read and write in Spanish. At nine or ten years old, we moved to the Caribbean,' she said.

'I wasn’t born in the Dominican Republic; I was born in the United States, then we moved to the DR for seven years. We did the reverse. I was born in my country, and I went to my mother’s country, back to my parents, to my roots.'
