Gavin Rossdale didn't cheat on Gwen Stefani with their nanny Mindy Mann, her friend has claimed. Mindy's pal - known simply as Jess - was interviewed about the alleged affair on KIIS FM on Thursday. Explaining she'd known Mindy since school, Jess claimed that Mindy had told her about the story weeks before it broke. She also insisted that reports of an affair were untrue, saying: "It's absolute garbage."
According to US Weekly, Gwen discovered that husband Gavin was having an affair with their nanny when she stumbled across explicit messages between the pair in February .
Mindy
was reportedly fired soon after but Gavin did not confess for months
that he'd been in a prolonged relationship with their staff member.
Instead he apparently initially insisted that it was just a case of simple 'flirtation'.
School friend Jess has now claimed that not only did Mindy
not send nude photos and explicit messages, but also that she 'wasn't
the type' to do so.
Jess said: "I know that she definitely wasn't [sending explicit messages]."
