Oscar Pistorius granted bail, remains on House arrest

The Olympic and Paralympic gold medallist Oscar Pistorius has been bailed while he fights his conviction for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. His bail was set at 10,000 rand - around £450 - and he will be able to leave the home under certain conditions. Model Reeva Steenkamp, 29, died on Valentine's Day in 2013 after he shot her four times through a locked toilet door. He said he mistook Steenkamp for a burglar.
