The Olympic and Paralympic gold medallist Oscar Pistorius has been bailed
while he fights his conviction for murdering his girlfriend Reeva
Steenkamp. His bail was set at 10,000 rand - around £450 - and he will be able to leave the home under certain conditions. Model Reeva Steenkamp, 29, died on Valentine's Day in 2013 after he shot her four times through a locked toilet door. He said he mistook Steenkamp for a burglar.
