Anja Ringgren Loven Honored In Denmark for her Humanitarian servicing in Nigeria

Danish Aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven, who rescued a little boy, Hope, that was left for dead after being branded a witch in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Today, she was presented with the Danish Medal of Honour in Denmark for her "brave, selfless and extraordinary effort to save the vulnerable children in Nigeria.. More photos after the cut.

A two-year-old Nigerian boy who was found emaciated and riddled with worms after his family left him for dead has made an incredible recovery. A picture of the starving toddler being given a sip of water by an aid worker broke hearts around the world when it was published in January.
