According to new the book Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football , Ronaldo is also available to rent. The cost of spending four and a half hours with Ronaldo? A staggering £920,000.

The book states that a Saudi Arabian company agree to pay Ronaldo's image rights company, Multisports & Image Management, that fee in 2013.

For that price, they got four-and-a-half hours of his company. They were also allowed a photoshoot, two mentions on his social media profiles and five signed shirts.

In addition, the firm were allowed to use his image for regional advertising for one day.

This sort of activity provides the potential for huge additional income for Ronaldo, who earns more than £400,000-a-week after tax at Real Madrid.

Details also emerged of the eye-watering sums paid to Manchester United stars Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Both players moved to Old Trafford last summer - Ibrahimovic signed on a free transfer while United stumped up a world record fee for Pogba.

The Mail report Ibrahimovic agreed a deal worth £367,640-a-week at United, comfortably making him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

In addition, the Swede also secured goal bonuses totalling almost £3million, having notched 28 times in his first season with the club.

Pogba's United contract is thought to be worth a modest £165,588-a-week, although there are substantial incentives for the Frenchman at Old Trafford.
