President Donald Trump, refers to Madonna as 'disgusting', ISIS 'dirty rats' in Fox interview

Donald Trump called America pop star Madonna 'Disgusting' for her call to bomb the white house

The billionaire businessman was reacting to a comment the singer made during a speech at the Women's March last Saturday when she said she'd thought "an awful lot about blowing up the White House."

Trump also spoke about his intention to defeat ISIS, calling them "sneaky, dirty rats".

"When you're fighting Germany and they had their uniforms, and Japan and they had their uniforms and they had their flags on the plane, and the whole thing," Trump said.

"We are fighting sneaky, dirty rats right now that are sick and demented. And we're going to win."

The White House is also considering bringing back a CIA programme for holding terrorism suspects in secret overseas "black site" prisons where interrogation techniques often condemned as torture were used.

Asked about waterboarding, Trump told Fox host Sean Hannity: "So waterboarding used to be used because they said it really wasn’t torture.

"It was one step slightly below torture.
"I mean torture is real torture ok?

"Waterboarding is - I’m sure it’s not pleasant, but waterboarding was just short of torture.
"When… you know, all of a sudden, they made it torture.

"I spoke with people the other day who are in this world that we’re talking about.
"Absolutely it works. Absolutely. Now, General Mattis said that he doesn’t intend to use it.
"I’m with him all the way. Do I believe it works? Yes I do."

Trump labels Madonna "disgusting" over White House comments

The interview comes as Trump told Republicans he wants swift action on a sweeping agenda including his planned US-Mexico border wall, tax cuts and repealing Obamacare.

Congressional Republicans were in Philadelphia for a three-day retreat to hammer out a legislative agenda, with the party in control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives for the first time in a decade.

"This Congress is going to be the busiest Congress we've had in decades, maybe ever," Trump said in a speech.

"Enough 'all talk, no action.' We have to deliver," Trump added.
