Journalist Collins Mtrika of Centre for Investigative Journalism in Malawi (CIJM) who also writes for Nyasa Times and the Mail and Guardian has courted controversy vor insulting his wife on Facebook.
Taking to Facebook‚ Mtika shared a photo of his wife and accused her of being a “witch.”
“This is thw witch I married. This one will kill me one day,” he posted.
The post went viral as many Malawians took a screenshot kept on sharing through Whatsapp.
This is not the first time Mtika has gone on Facebook to insult his wife.
A close family source said the wife has suffered distress over the post.
However, she is not taking any action, saying the journlaits-husband is not well mentally.
