Hospital threatens to throw out sick Nollywood actor Prince James Uche --- family begs for financial assistant

According to his son -----Living a happy life of contentment was our family's greatest plan until our father Prince James Uche fell sick; everything changed. Our lives and that of dad has been under the mercy of some Good Samaritans who has assisted us all these while in paying dad's hospital bills; clothing us and making sure we feed twice or thrice a day; but today we're helpless as the Samaritans says they've also ran out of resources to continue dad's treatment. Now we're homeless and helpless as the hospital where we live our small lives with dad threatens to throw us out on January the 3rd 2017 if no one harken to our cry.

We are only kids and can't help the situation; even going to school is a thing of the dreams to us now but We call on the good people of Abia State and our great nation Nigeria for help!....SIGNED UCHE JNR PRINCE JAMES.....PLS HELP PAY TO---PRINCE JAMES UCHE-- ACCT NO ZENITH BANK I001063788 .. info call TORINO EMEKA OJUKWU 08023200557. Ace Nollywood actor, Prince James Uche, has been battling with a strange illness since 2007.
The former Vice President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and seasoned actor is still struggling to survive the strange illness that has kept him off the screen for eight years ago

To make matters worse, Uche’s landlord has just served him a notice, ordering him to quit his residence at 45, Yetunde Brown Street, Gbagada, Lagos

The ailing actor, who now spends most of his time in the premises of a Catholic church near his residence, in an interview recounted how he found himself in his present condition.

Reacting to his condition and how his colleagues have risen for his help, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima in a statement on Tuesday said: “The National Executive Council of the Actors Guild of Nigeria would like to react to the story making the rounds especially in the social media that AGN has abandoned Actor, Prince James Uche.”

“The Guild took over the responsibility of Prince James Uche in September 2013, when we got the information about his health issue. The National President visited him and he refused to be taken to hospital or go on the health plan of the Guild. That he wanted cash. N100,000 was given to him.”
“In May 2014, we visited him again to check on him and this is what followed. We took him to R. Jolad Hospital Gbagada, Lagos State; comprehensive tests were conducted and were diagnosed of complications arising from HBP/Hypertension which led to stroke of the eye.”

“He was admitted and well treated at the hospital for over a week before he was certified well and discharged by the doctor.”

“After that, we took him to Eye Foundation for further optical treatment. Series of tests were conducted on him and was diagnosed of complications arising from the primary ailment of HBP/hypertension.”

“The medical team discovered that the eye vessel that supplies blood to the eyes was damaged as a result of a stroke he suffered many years ago, and nothing could be done.”
