Mother arrested after her daughter drowned in bath while she was having sex with a male Prostitute

The mum allegedly had sex while her two-year-old daughter tragically drowned in the bath.Amanda Ann Clark is said to have left her three daughters alone in the bath while she had sex with the man.

The young girl was apparently pushed underwater by her sister as her oblivious mother had a fling just metres away. The 26-year-old is facing a felony charge 


The male Prostitute told investigators that when he got to her house after she called him for short service, the girls were in the living room but Clark gathered them together and ran them a bath.

She then allegedly went in to the bedroom and they had sex while the girls were still bathing.

A short time later the oldest daughter who is six years old rushed into the bedroom to say that Alexandria had stopped breathing.

The youngster told investigators that her three-year-old sister had pushed Alexandria under the water in the tub.

Sheriff Akin added: Of course, the three year old didn't have a clue about what that was all about, what the implications of that might be.”

Neighbours and friends of Clark defended her on Wednesday, saying she made a terrible "mistake”.

 The arrest report details a “visiting a male companion” in her bedroom with the door closed while the children were alone in the bath.

Jodi Malott, who lives across the street, said: “She was screaming, hollering, 'Help me. Help me.' She loved those kids.”
She says Clark tried CPR and then called police which the affidavit confirms.
Clark is charged with abandoning or endangering a child which is a felony.
