Housewife Usha Devi was dragged out of her home by furious mob and attacked over suspicions she killed husband with rod. The 45 year old woman was at home with her kids when she was dragged from her home in the village of Samastipur, Bihar, India, by a group of men.
She was attacked by the furious group until she was eventually knocked unconscious, before being left in the dirt.
The village suspect Devi killed her husband Ashok Paswan, 50, following an episode of domestic violence.
The
45-year-old housewife was rushed to Sadar Hospital in Samastipur
following the incident, where she was treated for her injuries.
Deputy Superintendent Tanveer Ahmed, of Bihar Police, said: “We are currently investigating the case.
“We know the two (husband and wife) had an argument which turned violent.
“She hit her husband with a rod, and then he died. We are waiting for the post-mortem report.
“The woman is currently being treated at the hospital for her injuries.
“Once she’s well we will continue our investigation and find out what
has happened here and we will take due action against the woman and the
mob if necessary.”
