Video footage was captured of the touching moment, which shows Ms. Minaj breaking down in the presence of Ms. Hill.
At one point, she literally gets on her knees, face in the carpet and bows at the feet of the former Fugees front woman. “I’m in love with you,” Nicki tells Hill while giving her a huge hug. “I’m in love with your spirit, your mind, everything about you.” Minaj was clearly shaken by the experience and expressed her emotions in the caption. “Excuse me while I have an outer body experience.

While Nicki loves Lauryn, the distinction of her favorite rapper happens to go to Jay Z. “I think everybody knows how obsessed I am with Jay Z. He’s always been my favorite rapper — him and Wayne,” she said in a past interview. But clearly, she has already met Hov and Tunechi.
