Actor Russell Crowe was so fed up of Azealia Banks that he physically removed her from his party this weekend after allegedly calling her the N-word
The Gladiator actor threw a dinner party at his Beverly Hills hotel suite this weekend and the controversial rapper joined them as RZA's plus one.
But it has been claimed that things turned sour after Azealia is said to have lashed out at the “boring white men” at the party and allegedly threatened to cut fellow guests like a Quentin Tarantino movie.
Sources close to Russell told Mirror Celebs that the actor picked her up and ejected her from the hotel suite and then called security to boot her out of the hotel.
The baffling incident is said to have kicked off on Saturday night, where 10 people were invited to come to the dinner party.
The mood changed when Azealia allegedly laughed at Crowe's music choices and was told to shut up by a fellow guest.
It kicked off with Azealia allegedly saying: “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s***.”
Azealia is said to have gone on a n-word rant before Crowe picked her up in what TMZ have described as a 'bear hug' and threw her out of his hotel suite.
An investigation was reportedly carried out, with four witnesses giving statements, some of which described the rapper as “erratic”.
Witnesses including RZA has reportedly said the Azealia was using the n-word, and not the Hollywood actor.
Crowe, a prolific tweeter, has not commented on the bizarre events of the weekend.
But Azealia has given a completely different version of events, claiming that the 52-year-old 'choked' her and called her the n-word.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Azealia wrote: “To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me.
“Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time.
“The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today.’"
Sources close to Crowe have said this did not happen.
Azealia's rep said in a statement: "Azealia is tremendously distraught and disheartened. She is shell shocked and will speak out on the incident once she has had time to process the brutality and abuse she was unjustly subjected to.”
