After initially raising his fists in the air in celebration, he rose back to his feet to walk out of the arena.
But he suddenly collapsed and tumbled down the staircase, where his team of coaches immediately rushed back to his aid.
Tokola, making his Olympic debut at the Rio Games, regained consciousness immediately and joked that it was a common occurrence when questioned about the fall afterwards.
