P.Diddy and Cassie 'call it quits after police are called to her home following explosive argument'

46 year old P.Diddy and girlfriend Cassie,29, have 'split up following heated argument which sparked a visit from police'. 

The couple - who have been in an on-off relationship since 2007 - reportedly started arguing in a car in Beverly Hills on Wednesday afternoon after the singer, 29, said she wanted to call time on their romance. 

According to TMZ, Cassie prompted the suspicious rap mogul, 46, to grab her phone and start scrolling through it as they drove home.

Diddy then jumped out of the vehicle with the phone and she went away with the driver.

Though the rapper eventually returned to their shared Los Angeles house, he then took two cars parked outside.

Meanwhile, Cassie had told her mother what had happened before her on/off lover got back to their house, and her mom called police.

Officers visited but left when Cassie explained she had got the phone back, though they still wrote up a domestic incident report. 

This isn't the first time the couple have split as Cassie appeared to have dumped the hitmaker, who has five children from past relationships, in December amid reports he had been 'pictured with a woman at a number of events'.

At the time, she made an Instagram post which has since been deleted which read: 'How I sleep knowing that I'm single and no one is cheating on me.'

The duo were then pictured again together, looking seemingly happy throughout the year, with both taking to Instagram to post snaps together. 

Diddy previously admitted Cassie had 'some questions' after he was spotted chatting to his former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez at the 2015 American Music Awards last November.

But he insisted that they were simply having a friendly catch up and the On the Floor hitmaker's boyfriend Casper Smart was also present.

He said: 'My woman at the end of the day, you know, she ain't have a problem with it. She had some questions. She had some questions.

'But nah, nah, you know, Casper was there. Me and Jennifer ... people gonna be friends, man. 

'People gonna grow, and, you know, any of my exes, they smile, and they're happy to see me, you know what I'm saying? And that's all that was about. And, you know, I answered the question.'
