Aiko has officially filed for a divorce from producer Dot Da Genius.
This news comes after Aiko was accused of cheating on her husband with Rapper Big Sean
While it’s unfortunate that the singer filed for divorce after a
brief amount of time, the fact she’s filing for divorce proves that she
was in fact married. There was speculation about her relationship with
Dot Da Genius from the jump, and her work with Big Sean only fueled the rumors the two were dating further.
Both parties have insisted that they either are single or strictly
business for a large majority of this year, while posing in photos that
had fans questioning otherwise.
As reported,
the singer cited “irreconcilable differences” on her divorce filing,
while also asking that the judge deny Dot any spousal support. The two
were married for just under a year.
