A 15 year old boy (name withheld) has been charged with murder after
stabbing 16 year old Nigerian, Leoandro Osemeke multiple times at a
house party in Peckham, London. Leoandro, popularly known as “Showkey”, gave up the ghost after he was
stabbed in the chest. His body was discovered after neighbors alerted
the Metropolitan Police of public disturbance.
Details of why the 15 year old teenager killed Leoandro have not been disclosed.
However, the suspect is in custody at Highbury Corner Youth Court.
Speaking to London Evening Standard, Leoandro’s father, Emmanuel, said:
“We are in mourning. We will all miss Leoandro deeply. He was highly talented and intelligent and loved by so many.
My son was a wonderful boy and never in any trouble. He was heading for a career in music, he was a great writer and a true talent. He wanted to be remembered as a legend and he will be for us.”
The story took another turn when a friend of the deceased posted a
photo of alleged gang members grinning with the caption “2 down… 2 to
go.”
The Instagram account, which posted this photo, is named “@Slimzyisnext” and it’s currently on
Slimzy happens to be Leoandro’s older brother who is also a rapper.
We’re hoping the police are connecting these dots.
