Katt Williams is known for holding the record as the most celebrity with multiple arrest of all time. This time, the troubled comedian was arrested Sunday after he allegedly attacked a woman in California,TMZ reported.
The incident happened at the restaurant of the Sportsmen's Lodge, a Los Angeles-area hotel.
A
female employee with visible minor injuries told cops she was arrested
and requested Williams be arrested for battery, according to TMZ.
Williams, 44, is in police custody charged with misdemeanor battery, the website reported.
He is being held, while cops investigate, in lieu of $20,000 bail.
This is yet another of Williams' many arrests this year alone.
The
first incident Williams was charged with occurred in February of this
year when he allegedly attacked an employee at a pool supply store.
He
was charged in Florida with battery, hindering a 911 call and
disorderly conduct after he allegedly threw a pair of googles and then
later punched the unidentified man following an argument at the store.
Sgt.
Kevin Holbrook, of the Gainseville PD, said Williams was 'lying on the
ground with his hands behind his back as though he was ready to go to
jail' when officers arrived at the store, but 'not forthcoming with any
information.'
He was booked into jail and later released on $5,000 bond.
