Rapper Lil Wayne reportedly suffered two seizures on a private plane, hes currently hosipitalized after they did an emergency landing. Watch Video after the cut
Wayne's white private plane was diverted to Omaha Monday afternoon
due to a medical concern, which is believed to have been a seizure.
The
incident was reported sometime before 3 p.m., while the multiplatinum
rapper was traveling cross-country from Milwaukee to California. KETV
NewsWatch 7 has independently confirmed that Omaha Fire Department crews
went on board, but Wayne refused treatment.
After the crews departed the plane, the plane was refueled and took off, according to Eppley Police Chief Tim Conahan.
A
short while later, the plane re-contacted officials at Eppley
Communications, saying the same person was having another medical
problem. The plane then circled back and returned to the airport.
An
ambulance was called, and Wayne was taken to CHI Health Creighton
University Medical Center, where he was treated in the emergency room.
KETV NewsWatch 7 has learned that he'll spend the night in the hospital.
