Janelle Monae and host Anthony Anderson flashed their derrieres at the 2016 BET Awards on Sunday night. See photos after the cut.
Janelle dared to bare during what was arguably one of the best tributes to Prince since his death while Anthony went for laughs.
The
30-year-old singer did one of a number of tribute performances that
peppered the awards show, wowing the crowd with an energetic performance
of some of Prince's greatest hits.
Running
across the stage in a Purple Rain-inspired white outfit with gospel
backing singers and sultry dancers, Janelle wowed the crowd.
Turning around and showing off his bare bottom, the 45-year-old had the audience in hysterics.
Not
done there, Anthony kept turning around and shaking his exposed rump as
if he was listening to Prince's song Come on which has the line 'Come
on baby, shake it now'.
While he was laughing, Jamie looked far less enthused with Anthony's decision to dare to bare as he had been with Janelle's.
To
his credit, the actor may have been a bit concerned as Anthony was
giving the audience a prolonged eyeful and Jamie's daughter was with him
in the audience.
