Supermodel
Jourdan Dunn puts on a very leggy display on the cover of the April
issue of ELLE magazine and talks about diversity and motherhood in her
most revealing party yet. Wearing
a selection of quirky outfits, the 25-year-old beauty says that the
fashion industry has a long way to go when it comes to accepting all
races.
She said:
'There are definitely a lot more girls of colour being represented. But I also feel like we’re 100% still not there. 'I want to see us get to a place where seeing a black girl, anywhere, is not such a big deal. Why can’t it just be the norm to see black models in campaigns and on covers and runways?'It’s still too much of a big thing when this happens.’
The stunner also spoke about combining her lucrative career with being a mother to her son, Riley, seven.
Jourdan
has a huge career to balance, with a lucrative Maybelline contract and
campaigns for Burberry, Balmain and H&M under her belt.
She also has a much-publicised spot on the Forbes list of top-earning models after banking £2.4 million in 2014.
The
model has also launched a children's clothing range with top high
street store, Marks & Spencer and Fluid World called Lil Londunn,
consisting of 22 adorably edgy boy’s and girl’s separates.
