She has in many occasion gushes about Phoenix, calling the location of her vacation home 'a magical place.' But
now Alicia Keys - and husband Swizz Beatz - are selling their 7,881 sq
ft Arizona estate for just under what they purchased it for in 2008,
$3.85 million.
The
35-year-old singer and her 37-year-old spouse have said that despite
loving the home and the area, with two young children, they just won't
be using it enough.
The duo married in July of 2010, and share two sons, five-year-old Egypt Daoud and one-year-old Genesis Ali.
'We want someone who could fully use and appreciate this wonderful home,' Alicia said in a statement for The Arizona Republic.
The mother-of-two added of the four bedroom house: 'We want to see someone own it, love it and make a life there.'
Alicia
and her husband had purchased the home in 2008 - for $3.9 million -
with the star saying: 'The home was a dream come true, that's why we
called it Dreamland.'
And despite wanting to now sell the family's vacation home, the Grammy winner continued to gush about the destination.
